My To-Do List for college:
-Buy the rest of my college Books
-Turn in my immunization records
-Buy Parking pass
-Get sleep pattern back
Luckily my school doesn't start until Aug 31st, a week after most people. I still have time to enjoy some summer fun. Today I played tennis with the guys plus some hayfielders. Lots of phil's old friends from hayfield who play tennis often are going to Mason too, so I look forward into meeting them and maybe hanging out with some of them. I'm so broke now since I gave my dad all my money to buy books and such. My next paycheck, which will be like over 400 dollars, is all going towards my tuition for the fall. I am not gonna be able to do anything social for a while -_-. Part of me is kinda glad that im staying home, considering how many of my close friends are staying in the area. Also i have the support of my family to always be able to turn to. Cecilia the other day said that, if she is homesick she is not able to return home that easily since she is going to be in Ithaca, New York. But the other part of me wish i could go and live on campus far away from home just to feel the freedom and responsibility to live on my own. But one outweighs the other and im glad i picked it(or was forced to picked it by my parents).
Some people are leaving soon, but i'm not really sad about it. I notice on facebook and such that people are so sad over their friends leaving that they have to be so public about it. Of course I have some friends who are about to leave the area, but, its not goodbye. Its, see you later, alot later....Christmas time maybe. I guess im just use to not seeing people for a long time. Especially since after i moved away from Key Middle School and left all my friends. I didn't keep in touch with any of them, and now i forgot all about them, moved on to new friends. I guess its the same feeling that is carrying over now, i know im gonna meet new people at Mason. I just don't leave attachment in people like i use to. I remember in high school at the end of every year, everybody is so sad and wishes the school year wouldn't end. They get everyone to sign their yearbook, even though they will meet eachother next school year. After summer starts, i don't talk to most of my friends during the summer. There is no point of weeping for them when you will meet again. So for all my friends that are leaving, have fun and good luck in college. I won't really miss you but i wish you the best and i know we will meet again. If we don't, then farewell. People come and go, we just have to accept that.
This makes me sound so apathetic doesn't it.....

My average summer day
My summer days went through a pretty consistent routine. On an average day, i would wake up at 10-12, eat breakfast, go to the gym with trung and/or andre, and then play tennis outside in the hot sun. Around 5 i would have to report to work at bertucci's and work until 9 or 10. At night i would talk to Phil, Andre, Kenny, Tina, and few others on skype until 2AM or so. This was my day for at least 60 percent of the summer. Because of this i've lost 7 lbs so far since the beginning of july.
Some unaverage days were when i went to Myrtle Beach with Phil's family. We had so much fun and for the first time in a long time i felt so relaxed and stress free. It was one of my blissful days in life. I was so sad when we had to return to VA because I did not want to return to reality. But part of me felt like i was ready to go home at that time. Thank you Phil for inviting me to go with your family to Myrtle Beach.
Now I have to scramble and get ready for my first year of college. Need to start buying books, parking pass, and prepare for the future. Lately i've been working 6 days a week and it is heavily ruining my summer because I am missing out in so much. At least i will have money to buy the books i need and stuff.
Overall:
This summer is probably ranked in my top 3 favorite summer since i was able to do lots of things and have a more productive summer. I lost touch with lots of my friends from Highschool and its only been 2 month since we graduated. On the other hand I felt like i've grown alot closer to a couple friends and made a few new friends. Don't get me wrong, even though I have lost touch in those friends, im not really sad about it at all. Maybe its good riddance, maybe its time to depart. I'm only saying this because this is one of the few times in life i felt truly happy. Finally being away from some people have definetly change my mood for the better and maybe I should keep it this way. Like i said in my last post, life is good...
